	Fortune's Formula: The Untold Story of the Scientific Betting System That Beat the Casinos and Wall Street Author: William Poundstone ISBN: 0809046377	Fun read - I'm interested in information theory, I don't have a lot of confidence in mathematical approaches to beating the market. This is the story of one that actually worked, and the history of the people that built it.

	Strategy Bites Back: It Is Far More, and Less, than You Ever Imagined Author: Henry Mintzberg ISBN: 0131857770	Great description of what strategies to develop, the properties that will allow you to recognize good strategies and several approaches for executing them. A lot is common-sense, but it is entertaining, reinforces solid ideas, and I learned a few things.

	The People's Tycoon: Henry Ford and the American Century Author: Steven Watts ISBN: 0375407359	Critical view of Ford. For me, it made me think about media influence (part of the book) and considering your source. I'm not sure I recommend this book, although it did make me think.

	Hershey: Milton S. Hershey's Extraordinary Life of Wealth, Empire, and Utopian Dreams Author: Michael D'Antonio ISBN: 074326410X	Interesting read about the man, the business, the city and the school he endowed with the bulk of his wealth.

	One Billion Customers: Lessons from the Front Lines of Doing Business in China (Wall Street Journal Book) Author: James McGregor ISBN: 0743258398	Interesting read that makes you think twice. We had some testing done there - generally, they did a great (sometimes amazing) job. Other teams didn't experience the same results - I wonder what was managed differently.

	Twilight in the Desert: The Coming Saudi Oil Shock and the World Economy Author: Matthew R. Simmons ISBN: 0471790184	After oil, what? Details the facts that indicate progression towards the end of oil (and the difficulties in predicting the associated timeline), I believe that the conclusion is the same either way. I agree that now is the time to research alternatives.

	The World Is Flat [Updated and Expanded]: A Brief History of the Twenty-first Century Author: Thomas L. Friedman ISBN: 0374292795	Good, interesting view of how flattening changes things - related to other interesting market friction stuff I've been reading.

	SPROUT!: Everything I Need to Know About Sales I Learned from My Garden Author: Alan A. Vengel ISBN: 1576752070	I'm not in sales, but it seems like a great way to nurture a good professional network which is a need that everyone has.
